Helen and Allen Trachsel, the founders of The Pancake Parlour group are involved in the day to day management of the business, keeping a constant eye on the style and quality of their product. The CEO and the Group
Training Manager are their son and daughter.
The administration team of nine people is headed by Ray Paull. He is situated at the head office on the 11th floor of 180 Russell Street in Melbourne. This office acts
as headquarters for the group and services all of The Pancake Parlour Restaurants.
The art and creative director is Peter Von Czarnecki. Peter is based in Adelaide where the group began in a tiny, bohemian,
tucked-away lane in the entertainment precinct where it still stands today. The production team is headed by Gerhard Wittwer (20 years service) who manages a team of area supervisers and restaurant managers, led by
Craig Laidlaw (33 years), Samantha Meadmore (18 years) and Mandy David (11 years). Each restaurant has a restaurant manager and at least 4 assistant managers.
Our licensed restaurants (10 company owned and 4
franchise restaurants) vary between 200 and 300 in capacity. The Doncaster restaurants operate 24 hours a day.
Our staff come from all backgrounds and are over 400 in number. We are proud of our wonderful
staff and of our fine quality and we strive to maintain this high standard. |
