The first Pancake Parlour menu created by Peter Von Czarnecki and Ken Ellis in Adelaide 1965 Our very first menu was created for us by Peter Von Czarnecki and Ken Ellis from the Adelaide Advertiser newspaper soon after we opened the original Pancake Parlour. The menu featured quaint Victorian illustrations and whimsical black type and was printed on grey strawboard...the original recycled stock. The menu today isn't so very different. We've kept a lot of the illustrations (we've just added a bit of colour). Even the paper doesn't look too different. Today's menu featuring the same old Victorian woodblock prints.
