the same year.

Webmaster´s Note:
We know how the name 'Liddell' was pronounced thanks to a couplet, which was composed in Carroll's day by students at Oxford. It went as followed:

"I am the Dean and
this is Mrs. Liddell.
She plays the first, and I
the second fiddle."

hud12s

The whole pack rose up into the air, and came flying down upon her.

hud03s

The poor little Lizard, Bill, was in the middle being held up by two Guinea Pigs, who were giving it something out of a bottle.

hud04s

Advice from a Caterpillar.

hud09s

Alice did not much like the Duchess so close to her.

hud11s

The King and Queen of Hearts were seated on their throne.
