She stretched herself up on tiptoe, and peeped over the edge of the mushroom, and her eyes immediately met those of a large, blue caterpillar. ´Nonsense!´ said Alice, very loudly and decidedly. Below: The fire-irons came first; then followed a shower of saucepans, plates and dishes. `Look out now, Five! Don´t go splashing paint over me like that!´. While she was still looking at the place where it had been, it suddenly appeared again. Above: So they began solemnly dancing round and round Alice. This time there could be no mistake about it; it was neither more nor less than a pig.. They began running when they liked, and left off when they liked, so that it was not easy to know when the race was over. She took down a jar from one of the shelves as she passed.. It would twist itself round and look up in her face, with such a puzzled expression that she could not help bursting out laughing.
